Attempted murder suspect in custody after turning himself in to police

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An attempted murder suspect is in custody after turning himself in to police on Friday afternoon, according to police officials.
Officials say the 26-year-old suspect was wanted for a shooting in the Aiea area Wednesday night.
Police say he was in a vehicle when he shot at a 48-year-old man multiple times.
The victim was hit in the leg and needed to be rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
There was no word this morning on his current condition.
Charges are pending.
